Satellite Internet in Alaska

With the launch of the Aurora Satellite System all of Alaska will be covered with high-speed broadband service. This includes the most rugged and remote areas and small rural population centers that are difficult, if not impossible, to serve by terrestrial methods. The island chain of the Aleutians, all coastal areas of the state as well as small villages are in the coverage of the Aurora Satellite System.
